Arne Andersson
I have been working as a technical engineer for 19 years, mostly as a consultant for the Swedish telecom- and medical industry and the Armed Forces. The last years I have been specializing in software design for various microprocessors.
I hold a MSc in Physics. My specialities are electrical measurement techniques, sensor- and radio electronics and programming.
I have been working with migratory birds for more than 20 years at Ottenby Bird Observatory on Öland. Being a member of the steering committee, I am responsible for taking good care of the datasets and to make the data available to interested researchers.
I am a keen sailor (the bigger ship, the better!) and amateur radio operator. I enjoy wine tasting and cooking.
In the CAnMove project I will work as a technical consultant, serving the different projects. I will try to provide an interface between the scientists and different tecnical resources, but also to build and maintain the technical laboratory facilities within CanMove. I also hope to have some time for developing a generic sensor- and data acquisition toolbox for use in various applications.
