Research
My research interests are at the interface of evolutionary biology, behavioural ecology and functional ecology. I try to place proximate mechanisms in an evolutionary context to understand individual strategies, life history evolution and the dynamics of natural populations.
During my postdoc in Lund I will work on:
- Parasite-induced selection on innate immunity genes in wild rodents (collaboration with Lars Råberg & Helena Westerdahl)
- The role of specific host defence in bird – malaria interactions (in collaboration with Staffan Bensch & Dennis Hasselquist)
