Research
My research integrates ecology and genetics and has a main focus on causes and consequences of dispersal, isolation and inbreeding at the level of the individual and the population.
Main study species are great reed warbler, blue tit, carrion and hooded crow and Arabidopsis lyrata. I received my PhD in 2003 and after a post-doctoral session in 2003-2006 at the Institute of Evolutionary Biology, University of Edinburgh, UK, I am now working as an Assistant Professor at the Dept. of Animal Ecology, Lund University, funded by the Swedish Research Council.
